WHY SOULNIGHTS EXISTS
Soul Nights was born from a simple frustration: too many nights out felt disconnected. People gathered in the same room, but often stayed within their own circles—drinking, smoking, talking and watching. We wanted something more alive.
For us, dancing has always been a way of connecting. A way of meeting someone without needing an introduction. A way of sharing energy, culture and presence.
So we started creating nights where movement is not something happening in the background. It is part of the reason we are there. We didn’t want to create another party. We wanted to create a reason to dance together.

No two Soul Nights are exactly the same.
Depending on the venue and the moment, a Soul Night can move through live DJ sets, different musical worlds, spontaneous dance moments, guest MCs, performances and unexpected collaborations.
At the centre of it all is the dance floor.
Soul Nights is designed around movement—not simply around listening to music. The DJs respond to the room, different styles meet each other, and the audience becomes part of what shapes the night.
BUILT NIGHT BY NIGHT
Soul Nights began in Athens in early 2024. What started with a small number of gatherings gradually developed into a consistent nightlife programme, reaching three to four sessions during many months and moving across several venues in the city. Rather than repeating the same concept everywhere, each venue has been approached differently.
Different names, different aesthetics, different sounds and different atmospheres allow each collaboration to develop its own identity while remaining part of the wider Soul Nights world.
The locations change. The philosophy stays the same.
NOT JUST FOR DANCERS
Soul Nights was never intended only for dancers or artists. One of its purposes is to bring the artistic community into contact with people who may never have stepped into a dance class, performed on a stage, played a DJ set or considered themselves creative. Through music, movement and the atmosphere of the night, those worlds can meet naturally.
Sometimes that encounter simply creates a good memory. Sometimes it creates the curiosity to try something artistic for the first time.
ONE NIGHT
MANY SOUNDS
Soul Nights works with a growing circle of DJs, each bringing their own musical identity. Depending on the venue, the audience and the atmosphere, a night can move through Hip-Hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Amapiano, House, Funk, UK sounds, commercial selections and beyond. We are not interested in forcing every room into the same musical formula. The goal is to understand the room—and move it.
A SPACE TO GROW
Soul Nights is not only a space for audiences. It has also become a space where DJs and emerging artists can develop their craft in real environments. Through recurring live sets, artists are able to experiment, understand how to read a room, take risks and develop their musical identity.
Several DJs within the Soul Nights circle have grown through these repeated experiences. The audience discovers something fresh. The artist receives something equally important: opportunity, experience and trust.
SUNSET SESSIONS
A SOUL NIGHTS CONCEPT
Sunset Sessions is a recurring concept created through Soul Nights and hosted at YellowSquare. Built around carefully selected DJs, changing musical directions and an open social atmosphere, Sunset Sessions carries the philosophy of Soul Nights into a regular setting where artists and audiences can grow together. The recurring nature of the sessions also creates room for experimentation, giving DJs the opportunity to develop through repeated interaction with a live audience.
COLLABORATE WITH SOULNIGHTS
Soul Nights collaborates with venues, cultural spaces, organisations, brands and communities interested in creating nightlife experiences centred around music, movement and genuine human connection. Each collaboration is approached individually.
